Despite the adoption of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) by the UN General Assembly in 1979, violence against women and girls remains a global problem. 
 
APPLICATIO, e.g.  supports GIZ in developing a training programme for the police in Zambia to strengthen them in their fight against violence against women and to prevent it beforehand.
 

Teilnahmesiegel-Fortschrittsindex-Vereinbarkeit.pngHamburg, November 2019: APPLICATIO has been a member of the "Success Factor Family" network for many years and has submitted to its guidelines. On 11.11.2019 APPLICATIO has now also received the participation seal of the "Progress Index Compatibility" from the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs!  It confirms that APPLICATIO attaches great importance to the compatibility of family and career and encourages the further development of offers for our employees.

APPLICATIO supports the "Principles for Digital Development".

PDD-UpdatedLogo.pngHamburg, December 2018: Since December 1, APPLICATIO officially supports the "Principles for Digital Development" and endorses  these guidelines in projects with digital components. The nine guidelines are intended to help digital development practitioners integrate established best practices into technology-supported programs.

Hamburg, October 2018 After it was announced that Google will discontinue its social media platform google+ in the future and will only continue its internal activities, APPLICATIO has decided to continue to report on its work on Instagram in the future - mainly image-based. APPLICATIO nominated!

Hamburg/Ulaanbaatar, August 2018, The consortium APPLICATIO/ICON consisting of APPLIATIO Training & Management GmbH and ICON Institute GmbH and the joint project (led by APPLICATO) for strengthening Mongolian Business Membership Organisations was nominated for the "German-Mongolian Cooperation Project 2018" Price by the German-Mongolian Business Association.

Youth Soccer Mongolia - Silver in Shanghai

ub_united_2018.pngHamburg, July 2018 / APPLICATIO has been supporting youth soccer in Mongolia for years, especially the club UB-United. From 31 May to 4 June 2018, ten handicapped young people of UB-United participated in a tournament in Shanghai (China), which was organized by the East Asian Paralympic Committee and also serves as qualification for the Sepcail Olympics in 2019. At the end of the tournament, after a narrow defeat in the final against a team from China, the team received the silver medal! For nine of the ten participating young people, it was not only their first trip abroad, but also their first train trip of their lives.  

giz_handwerk_1.pngDas global programme "Strengthening innovative approaches of cooperation between crafts and partners in global vocational training" of GIZ - in which APPLICATIO is also engaged in the frame of an e-Learning component - has published a new brochure. With this publication (in German only so far) GIZ wants to give craftsmen and women as well as organisations such as Chambers of Skilled Crafts an overview on options to get involved in international TVET development.
