APPLICATIO is an independent, international consulting company focused on assisting people, organisations and companies as well as networks and regions worldwide in their sustainable development. APPLICATIO stands for demand-driven, socially responsible and environmentally conscious "Capacity Development" with special experience and focus in developing and transition countries. APPLICATIO's work is strategically oriented towards the UN's goals for sustainable development.

Democratic AI Usage

On 18 November 2025, APPLICATIO co-signed the ‘Code of Conduct for Democratic AI’ and thereby committed itself to complying with the principles of this Code of Conduct. eLearning Development Mongolia (EBRD)

APPLICATIO was commissioned by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) with the support of the Mongolian Tavan Bodg Group (Таван Богд Групп) and its import and logistics subsidiary Tavan Bodg International (tavanbogd-international.com) to provide digitally supported, company-wide learning (e-learning). The German-Mongolian team at APPLICATIO will be supporting the group's human resources department for around 18 months.
Support for UB-United 2025

APPLICATIO continued to support the UB-United (Ulaanbaatar-United) youth soccer club in Mongolia in 2025. The club focuses on inclusion and youth work with soccer as a unifying element, bringing together children from disadvantaged families and urban districts, young people with and without disabilities, boys and girls, thereby promoting the development of children and young people in Ulaanbaatar.
Project Appraisal Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan

APPLICATIO was commissioned by SEQUA gGmbH to review and plan a partnership project (KVP) between the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Germany (VdU) e.V. and Global Project Partners (GPP) e.V., as well as partner associations for women entrepreneurs in Nigeria, Kenya, and Pakistan. These associations are intended to expand the “Women in Business Network.”
SME Loop Certification and Implementation

APPLICATIO has been included in a framework agreement for the implementation of support programmes for SMEs worldwide by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). The approach ‘MSE Loop’ of the GIZ and the ‘International SME Loop Association e.V.’ is used for this purpose. With the certification of Thorsten Trede as ‘SME Loop Master Coach’, APPLICATIO is now ready to implement these programmes.
Webinars for Development Co-operation

APPLICATIO is once again offering training courses for practitioners on topics relating to development cooperation and the corresponding management of projects. As - especially due to the involvement of the private sector in international cooperation - more and more new partners are implementing projects, APPLICATO wants to cover the need for further training on specific topics with short, practical and targeted webinars... so that everyone has the tools at hand to make projects a success.
