Educational exports lay the foundations for recruiting skilled workers – Article published in xPORT 1/2026
Hamburg, May 2026; APPLICATIO has once again published an article in xPORT, the iMOVE export magazine. In issue 1/2026, Thorsten Trede, together with Tim Bluthardt, reports on his experiences with “educational exports as a foundation for recruiting skilled workers” and practical experiences in the field of skills development in the timber sector in Rwanda.
iMOVE (International Marketing of Vocational Education) was established as an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to promote the internationalisation of German education services. Today, iMOVE is a division of the ‘International Vocational Education and Training’ department at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB). iMOVE supports German further education providers in tapping into international markets by offering a comprehensive range of services.
