All life depends on water. It is our most important food, yet about ten percent of people worldwide do not have access to clean drinking water. And about 32 percent of the world's population do not have adequate basic sanitation. Yet water and sanitation is a fundamental prerequisite for sustainable development worldwide.
Evaluation "Integrated Asset Management for Water Utilities in South-Eastern Europe"

APPLICATIO has been contracte dby GIZ to implement a mid-term evaluation of the developPPP-Programme "Integrated Asset Management for Water Utilities in South-Eastern Europe". The programme aims at strengthening the capacities of supported water utility associations and water utilities in Sout-East Europe with regard to integrated asset management.
SEQUA-Project Planning Africa

APPLICATIO has been commissioned by sequa gGmbH (on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development) with the assessment and planning of two projects in Africa. Together with experts from sequa and the respective project partners, a vocational training partnership project in Namibia and a chamber and association partnership project in East Africa (regional) will be examined and planned. Water Infrastructure Financing - SADC

APPLICATIO supports GIZ in its project "Transboundary Water Management in SADC" in the field capacity development for the SADC-Secretariat. The project aims at strengthening human, institutional and organisational capacities in the SADC water sector. In addition basin-wide water resources management plans will be developed and water infrastructure in different regions will be improved. Finally the programme develops tailor-made training programmes and information and knowledge management systems including awareness-raising measures.
Leadership in the Water Sector in Egypt

APPLICATIO supports the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in the conceptualization and planning of a Leadership Journey for the water sector in Egypt in the frame of the programme "Improved agricultural water productivity to enhance adaptation to climate change". The concept aims at developing leadership competencies amongst project stakeholders and in enabling and support change agents to implement change projects in the sector.
Project Evaluation Kenya

Being contracted by sequa gGmbH APPLICATIO implements a project evaluation for a Vocational Education Partnership Project between the "Beruflichen Fortbildungszentren der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bfz) gGmbH" (TVET Centers of Bavarian Economy) and Assocations of the water sector in Kenya.
