Business Plan for the East African Health Platform

APPLICATIO was commissioned by SPECTARIS - Deutscher Industrieverband für optische, medizinische und mechatronische Technologien e.V., to support the East African Health Platform based in Tanzania in the preparation of its business plan.
The focus of the project, which SPECTARIS is carrying out as a partner of SEQUA in East-Africa as an association partnership project, is to support and advise the East African Health Platform (EAHP) with the aim of strengthening its commitment and competence as a service provider for small and medium-sized enterprises and as a stakeholder vis-à-vis state institutions. There are also explicit plans for synergies for members of SPECTARIS, such as those arising from delegation trips or the use of contacts established locally.
Framework Contract Evaluation for GIZ

APPLICATIO was included in GIZ's pool of evaluators under two framework contracts. Thorsten Trede will thus become a member of the pools for evaluations in the areas of "Private Sector Development" as well as "Biodiversity".

Monitoring System Make-IT Africa

APPLICATIO has been contracted by Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) to develop and pilot a result-based monitoring system for the programme Make-IT (Africa). Project Evaluation Zambia

APPLICATIO has been contracted by sequa gGmbH - Partner of German Economy - to evaluate a Chamber and Association Partnership Project in Zambia (financed by the German Ministry BMZ and implemented by the Chamber of Skills Crafts Frankfurt Rhein-Main). Concept/Moderation: African Governance Days

APPLICATIO has been contracted by Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to assist the Sector Network for Good Governance in Sub-Saharan Africa in planning and implementing the Governance Days in Accra/Ghana. Main focus of APPLICATIO's involvement will be the development of a concept for integration of face-to-face participants and virtual participants during the conference. In addition, APPLICATIO will be moderating the conference and training about 10 co-facilitators for moderation of working groups.
Operational Planning Workshop Zambia

APPLICATIO has been contracted by The Chamber of Crafts Frankfurt Rhein-Main (HWK) on behalf of sequa gGmbH and the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to plan and facilitate a planning workshop (operational planning) for a vocational training partnership programme in Zambia. Jointly with sequa experts and experts from the Chamber of Crafts APPLICATIO facilitates bilateral partner meetings as well as a planning workshop with all stakeholders in the Sambia to jointly develop the operational plan for the project in Zambia.
