APPLICATIO was commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to prepare an evaluative study on the further orientation of Technical Cooperation in the core theme "Sustainable Growth and Training for Good Jobs" in Rwanda. The study is to focus, among other things, on partner orientation, employment potential (in the selected value chains) and efficient implementation.

The integrated approach of employment promotion has always been pursued, which addresses both the supply of labour through training and the demand from the private sector and the matching of the two sides through labour market policy measures. In the current module "Economic and Employment Promotion in Rwanda (duration 01/2020 to 12/2022), the integrated approach is being pursued further, with a particular focus on increasing employment-oriented growth in selected value chains (timber industry, tourism and film industry).
