APPLICATIO has been contracted by Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to develop an online-training for GIZ Community Managers. APPLICATIO already supported related face-to-face conferences in the past. The online-training aims at enabling community managers to successfully manager their communities and develop new strategies also for virtual communities. Peer-learning and exchange of best-practices will play a major role in the concept.
GIZ expert communities are sector networks that connect regional-sectoral GIZ experts and projects. Before the background that these expert communities work more and more virtually in so-called "Virtual Communities of Practice" the members and community managers are to jointly develop new strategies for cooperation.
Jointly with other GIZ experts, APPLICATIO will develop a concept for the online-training and set it up content wise.
