APPLICATIO has been contracted by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to evaluate the Human Capacity Development (HCD) project for the Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Sector in Myanmar. The project is implemented by the UNEVOC Centre "Technical and Vocational Education and Training for Sustainable Development" (a cooperation of Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg and the Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation IFF) and consists of various capacity building measures for TVET institutions, trainers, teachers and school principles/managers.
The Human Capacity Development (HCD) in TVET in Myanmar project offers an insight into a broad variety of HCD activities linked to the GIZ Project “Promotion of Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Myanmar” and aims at developing and testing innovative strategies for vocational training in practice and incorporated them into the reform process of Myanmar’s vocational training and education system.
