APPLICATIO was commissioned by Pro Peace (FoumZDF e.V.) to facilitate the meeting between the supervisory board and the executive board. The meeting serves to strengthen cooperation between the committees and will take place in a hybrid format with participants physically present in Hamburg and participants joining remotely from around the world.
Peace and human rights groups founded Pro Peace in 1996 under the name Forum Ziviler Friedensdienst e.V. (ForumZFD) in response to the Balkan wars. Today, Pro Peace is active in 13 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Its work focuses on civil society actors who work for peace and non-violence in conflicts. Pro Peace advises and supports them in their efforts, implements joint projects and, together with its partners, campaigns for a sustainable peace policy. Since 2006, Pro Peace has also been contributing its expertise in international conflict work at the local level in Germany.
