APPLICATIO has been contracted by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to develop a study on "Models and Options for Financing and Governance of the Platform Partnerships2030" in the frame of the project "Platform for Multi-Stakeholder-Partnerships (MSP)".
Global partnerships are an instrument for implementation of the Agenda2030 on global, national and regional level. A main element of global - which is directly named in SGD 17 are Multi-Stakeholder-Partnerships (MSA). By ensuring cooperation of stakeholders from civil society, academia and private sector synergies will developed that can be used to achieve the SDGs by 2030. The project develops a national (German) platform for multi-stakeholder-partnerships that supports MSP and promotes MSP as instrument for sustainable development
In the frame of the project, APPLICATIO will develop a study that identifies and analyses models for governance and financing of the platform after the project ends. The study will include activity plans for each option to ensure sustainable existence of the platform and network.
