APPLICATIO has been contracted (in cooperation and under leadership of commons sense, Austria) by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to support the African Union through capacity building for results-oriented, multi-year and gender-sensitive planning, budgeting, monitoring, evaluation and reporting. This includes the identification of learning needs, preparation of training plans and implementation of trainings.
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has established a strong partnership with the AU through its GIZ Liaison Office at the AU. On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), GIZ is implementing the Institutional Capacity Building Programme (ICBP), which aims to improve the AUC's results-based management, gender-sensitive multi-year planning and budgeting, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
