APPLICATIO has been commissioned by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to support GIZ internal human resource development in Ethiopia. Within the framework of the "Big Pricture Development Cooperation" initiative APPLICATIO will plan and execute training courses for GIZ employees in the field of development cooperation over three years.
The human resource development of GIZ staff has high priority in GIZ Ethiopia and Djibouti. With almost 1,000 employees from more than 20 countries, a systematic and goal-oriented approach is essential to sustainably increase competencies and know-how. For this reason, a 3-year roadmap for GIZ Ethiopia and Djibouti employees was developed within the framework of GIZ Ethiopia and Djibouti. This roadmap outlines an HRD initiative called "Big Picture Development Cooperation".
The overall goal of this program is: "Employees gain a better insight into the overall picture of development cooperation and the GIZ background in order to improve their ability to carry out and implement projects".
