Development of virtual Leadership Training

APPLICATIO was commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the GIZ Academy for International Cooperation (AIZ) to develop a virtual online training on the topic of leadership. The existing AIZ offer on the topic (BasiQ) is available as classroom training and blended learning and is now to be completely "virtualized" or designed as pure online training and then piloted.

The "BasiQ" (GIZ leadership training) to be adapted supports managers in coping with the role change from specialist to manager, in assuming their scope of responsibility and design, and in performing their disciplinary leadership tasks. Participation in BasiQ is mandatory for managers and is recommended approximately six to twelve months after taking on the management function. The group is made up of participants of different nationalities, different leadership experience, different employee groups and different age groups.
