Engaging with Indian BMOs on German dual VET
APPLICATIO has been contracted by GIZ to support the "Indo-German programme for Vocational Education and Training (IGVET)" in advising and guiding local cooperation between public entities and private sector organizations, such as chambers and associations, in order to jointly implement cooperative, workplace-based trainings in three industrial clusters.
YouMatch: Study on Quality of Internships
The Consortium PEM / APPLICATIO / NNF / MPW, made-up by APPLICATIO Training & Management GmbH and PEM GmbH (Lead), the Namibia Nature Foundation (NNF) and MPW Associates (MPW), has been contracted by the University of Namibia (UNAM) with financial support by Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) with financial means of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to develop new study programmes on wildlife-management for the extended campus of UNAM in Katima Mulilo. As an additional option, the Consortium will also support the construction of the campus-extension.
Toolbox Academy for International Cooperation
APPLICATIO was commissioned by GIZ (more precisely the Academy for International Cooperation (AIZ) in GIZ) to develop a toolbox for international competence development. The aim of the contract is the analysis of the existing offers of AIZ, their clustering and documentation in standardised form including process description for each offer.
Small Business Initiative Mongolia
The Consortium APPLICATIO/ICON, consisting of APPLICATIO Training & Management GmbH and ICON Institute GmbH (with APPLICATIO being lead) has been contracted by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to support 12 business membership organisations (BMO) in Mongolia in their further development. During the 18 month project a team of about seven international and around 15 national experts will support the Associations from all over Mongolia with individual coaching, workshops, conference, match-making activities etc.
Competency Development Framework "Inclusive Business Action Network"
APPLICATIO has been contracted by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) with developing a Skills Development Framework for the global "Inclusive Business Action Network (IBAN)" project. The purpose of the assignment is to design a learning platform that will enable learners to plan their personalised learning processes and action plans to adapt their business models, to communicate and collaborate online and to acquire formal and informal knowledge with regard to the implementation of inclusive business models.
Training Concept Procurement
APPLICATIO has been contracted by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) to develop a training concept and related training material for GIZ internal staff (procurement division) on the subject "Procurement above the EU-threshold".
Project Evaluation Zambia
APPLICATIO has been contracted by sequa gGmbH - Partner of German Economy - to evaluate a Chamber and Association Partnership Project in Zambia (financed by the German Ministry BMZ and implemented by the Chamber of Skills Crafts Frankfurt Rhein-Main). Study Civil Peace Service Philippines
APPLICATIO has been contracted by the Civil Peace Service (ZFD) of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH with developing a study on the future of the Peace Service in parts of the Philippines. Before the background of the critical security situation in parts of the Philippines the ZFD (Ziviler Friedensdienst/Civil Peach Service) will have to withdraw five staff members from specific regions. Concept/Moderation: African Governance Days
APPLICATIO has been contracted by Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to assist the Sector Network for Good Governance in Sub-Saharan Africa in planning and implementing the Governance Days in Accra/Ghana. Main focus of APPLICATIO's involvement will be the development of a concept for integration of face-to-face participants and virtual participants during the conference. In addition, APPLICATIO will be moderating the conference and training about 10 co-facilitators for moderation of working groups.
"Centers of Learning" CDIA
APPLICATIO has been contracted by Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to develop a capacity development concept and strategy for the programme "City Development Initiative Asia". In the frame of the "Centers of Learning" initiative cities are supported to learn form each other (peer-learning) based on best-practices to develop and implement infrastructure investment programme.
