Ex-Post Training Evaluation for Better Migration Management

Training Design "Gender-Based Violence" in Zambia

zambia_wappen.pngAPPLICATIO was commissioned by the GIZ Programme "Partnerships for Prevention of Violence Against Women and Girls in Southern Africa (PfP)", Zambia component to plan and develop a “flagship project” with the police in Southern Province. APPLICATIO was commissioned to analyse training needs and design training programmes (most probably using blended learning approaches) in order to support the police force in Zambia in the fight against gender-based violence.

Project Evaluation South Africa

sequa logoOn behalf of SEQUA gGmbH, APPLICATIO is carrying out a project evaluation for a vocational training partnership project between the Erfurt Chamber of Skilled Crafts  and vocational schools in South Africa. The project cooperates closely with Eastcape Midlands TVET College, Lovedale TVET College and Port Rex Technical High School. The evaluation  serves to determine the status quo (implementation) and, if applicable, to plan a further project phase or follow-up project.

Business Plan for the East African Health Platform

spectaris_logo.pngAPPLICATIO was commissioned by SPECTARIS - Deutscher Industrieverband für optische, medizinische und mechatronische Technologien e.V., to support the East African Health Platform based in Tanzania in the preparation of its business plan.

The focus of the project, which SPECTARIS is carrying out as a partner of SEQUA in East-Africa as an association partnership project, is to support and advise the East African Health Platform (EAHP) with the aim of strengthening its commitment and competence as a service provider for small and medium-sized enterprises and as a stakeholder vis-à-vis state institutions. There are also explicit plans for synergies for members of SPECTARIS, such as those arising from delegation trips or the use of contacts established locally.

YouMatch: Study on Quality of Internships

Wildlife-Management Namibia

namibia-karte.pngThe Consortium PEM / APPLICATIO / NNF / MPW, made-up by APPLICATIO Training & Management GmbH and PEM GmbH (Lead), the Namibia Nature Foundation (NNF) and MPW Associates (MPW), has been contracted by the University of Namibia (UNAM) with financial support by  Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) with financial means of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to develop new study programmes on wildlife-management for the extended campus of UNAM in Katima Mulilo. As an additional option, the Consortium will also support the construction of the campus-extension.

Concept/Moderation: African Governance Days

giz.pngAPPLICATIO has been contracted by Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to assist the Sector Network for Good Governance in Sub-Saharan Africa in planning and implementing the Governance Days in Accra/Ghana. Main focus of APPLICATIO's involvement will be the development of a concept for integration of face-to-face participants and virtual participants during the conference. In addition, APPLICATIO will be moderating the conference and training about 10 co-facilitators for moderation of working groups.
