Poverty is one of the greatest challenges of the present and the future. Poverty affects each of us directly or indirectly. Their eradication is an overarching objective of international policy for sustainable development and of German development cooperation.
 
APPLICATIO supports poverty reduction in many ways and is involved in numerous projects worldwide. The focus is on personnel and organisational development, economic development, regional integration, promotion of SMEs and international trade.
 

Workshop "Proposal Writing" Mongolia

gti logoAPPLICATIO has been commissioned by the GIZ Project "Support for Regional Economic Cooperation in Asia" (SRECA) to conduct a workshop on "Proposal Writing" for partners of the Greater Tumen Initiative (GTI) in Mongolia. The participants should be able to develop regional projects and apply for funding after the workshop.

GTI Chamber Association

gti_region.PNGAPPLICATIO was commissioned by the GIZ and the project "Support for Economic Cooperation in Sub-Regional Initiatives (SCSI)" to support the Greater Tumen Initiative (GTI) in setting up an association of chambers of commerce of the partner countries as part of the GTI structure.  The aim of the project is to provide sustainable and effective support for the establishment of the "GTI North-East Asia Chambers Association". Through consultation, research and interviews with relevant stakeholders, APPLICATIO conducts a needs analysis and analyses the needs of the private sector in the region and derives the objectives for the NEA Chambers Association.

YouMatch: Study on Quality of Internships

e-Learning: Crafts in Development Cooperation

logo (1).pngAPPLICATIO has been contracted by Cookie Consult jointly with Modern Learning under a GIZ contract to develop an e-learning course for craftsmen, artisans and SME that allows them to get a an insight into development cooperation and development projects. The GIZ global programme "Strengthening innovative approaches of cooperation between crafts and partners in global vocational training" aims at increasing the cooperation between crafts-experts and development cooperation.

Wildlife-Management Namibia

namibia-karte.pngThe Consortium PEM / APPLICATIO / NNF / MPW, made-up by APPLICATIO Training & Management GmbH and PEM GmbH (Lead), the Namibia Nature Foundation (NNF) and MPW Associates (MPW), has been contracted by the University of Namibia (UNAM) with financial support by  Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) with financial means of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to develop new study programmes on wildlife-management for the extended campus of UNAM in Katima Mulilo. As an additional option, the Consortium will also support the construction of the campus-extension.

Workshop Facilitation "SPS Challenges and Opportunities"

giz logoAPPLICATIO has been contracted by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) to facilitate a regional workshop in Beijing (China) on "SPS challenges and opportunities within exporting goods to China". The workshop aims at supporting Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Viet Nam in their SPS cooperation with China by providing capacity enhancement for involved agencies. With special regard to the export-oriented agricultural sector, the regional workshop aims to map ongoing SPS challenges for exporters from Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Viet Nam.

Training-of-Trainers Forest Sector Vietnam

APPLICATIO has been contracted by Deutsche Forst Service GmbH (DFS) und Hessenforst with planning and implementing a comprehensive training-of-trainers programme in the frame of the programme "Promotion of sustainable management of production forests by forest companies in Vietnam". The programme is financed by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL). In the frame of the programme APPLICATIO will be training ap. 15 trainers and experts in training methodology and didactics and will coach them in-between training sessions.
