Energy Development West Mongolia

Logo-WME.jpgAPPLICATIO has been contracted by West Mongolia Energy LLC to support its efforts to ensure energy productions and supply (electricity and heating)  in Western Mongolia. The private enterprise aims at establishing an own power plant in Uvs-Province on order to reduce electricity imports from Russia and make use of own resources. APPLICATIO supports the enterprise in developing project concepts, identifying financial resources and planning implementation.

Wildlife Management UNAM

Human Capacity Development in TVET Myanmar

Flag of Myanmar.svgAPPLICATIO has been contracted by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to evaluate the Human Capacity Development (HCD) project for the Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Sector in Myanmar. The project is implemented by the UNEVOC Centre "Technical and Vocational Education and Training for Sustainable Development" (a cooperation of Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg and the Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation IFF) and consists of various capacity building measures for TVET institutions, trainers, teachers and school principles/managers.

Support to Business Associations - Mongolia

The project aims at supporting about 20 business associations form all over Mongolia form end of 2014 to end of 2015 by assisting them in developing strategies, and planning for members' services such as training and advocacy.

Women in Business

Being contracted by EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) APPLICATIO - in cooperation with CEFE Serbia - supports the programme "Women in Business" of EBRD that aims to support businesses that are led by women. The programme includes the countries of the Western Balkans as well as Turkey, Egypt and soon other Countries of the Eastern Partnership. APPLICATIO mainly supports training measures within the programme in the frame of a two-year framework contract.

HCD Concept Good Financial Governance Africa

(c) GIZAPPLICATIO supports GIZ in its programme "Good Financial Governance in Africa" by developing a human capacity development strategy jointly with the GIZ-Team and stakeholders from the region. With the changes in the programme comes a need to re-assess its Capacity Development (CD) processes and come up with a programme-wide Capacity Development strategy. This fosters a common understanding of CD among all work streams and intervention levels and sharpens the programme’s perspective on how to strategically address the different levels of Capacity Building and possible interconnections between these levels. The process of developing the strategy should also help to identify common CD challenges faced by the technical advisors in the work streams and foster cross-work stream learning.
